Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Films are jointly producing Kaakka Muttai, a film based on kids dwelling in slums. This film is being produced in one stretch and by the end of the month, it will be a wrap-up. The release will probably happen in the month of December and the team is confident of bagging many awards.

Now, the big news about this movie is the involvement of Simbu in a cameo role as himself. Yes, Simbu will be appearing as actor Simbu in Kaakka Muttai and being a Dhanush production, the presence of Simbu makes it all the more special.
