We had reported earlier that Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame, is directing Simbu’s Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan (AAA). Now, the latest information DC has, is that the music album will have nine songs.
Adhik tells us, “The theme song will be the highlight of the film, which has been sung by Simbu himself. It will be on the lines of Ajith’s opening song in Mankatha. Since it’s the fifth time that both Yuvan Shankar Raja and Simbu are coming together, we’re keen in offering something special to the audience. A few more surprises are in store too!”
He adds that the team will begin the first leg of shooting in a couple of weeks in and around Mysore and Kerala. “Simbu was extremely happy with the script and what I like about him is the kind of dedication he shows in whatever he does. He has grown a beard, mustache and additionally a goatee for the film. Not just this, he has put on a lot of weight (currently 95 kilos), as the role demanded it. He never asked me any question as to why I wanted him to do so,” Adhik says.
What’s next? “As soon as I wrap up this project, I’ll be collaborating with GV Prakash again. We decided to team up soon after we finished Trisha... however, this film with Simbu happened meanwhile.” On why he wants to work with GV again — “He is one of those people who I can get along well with,” he
concludes.
