There is a lot of buzz around the film, Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan (AAA). And the latest about this Adhik Ravichandran-Silambarasan movie is that one of Silambarasan's characters will be that of a 60-year-old.
The director of the film, Adhik, tells us, "We had asked Simbu not to disclose anything about his weight gain. He used to keep complaining that everyone is asking him about his plump appearance. And we had strictly asked him not to reveal anything about the role. It was a little difficult for Simbu to put on so much weight, considering he has been lean all his life.
We had to safeguard this character a lot," says Adhik. About the role, the director says, "Simbu will be seen playing a 60-year-old and his character's name is Ashwin thatha. He will be a lovable granddad who can do extraordinary things at the age of 60. Simbu was interested in playing this character right from the time I had narrated the story to him. As a director, I think I have extracted Simbu's acting skills to the maximum for this role. I believe this role will be a hit among youngsters." The team will begin shooting rest of the portions in East Coast Road from Monday.
