The most anticipated film of actor Vijay, ‘Varisu’ is all set to release in theatres for Pongal 2023. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, ‘Varisu’ is a Tamil and Telugu bilingual and it stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. The music for the movie is composed by Thaman and the first single from the film ‘Ranjithame’ sung by Vijay and Manasi has already crossed more than 50 million views. 

A few days ago, it was reported that actor Simbu has crooned a song in Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ and it is said the actor sung the song as a gesture of gratitude commemorating his friendship with Vijay. There was also a buzz that the song will be released in the second week of December. The fans were happy over the news that Simbu is singing a song in ‘Varisu’. Now, taking the internet by shock, an image has been circulating on the social media that shows Simbu at the ‘Varisu’ sets with director Vamshi Paidipally. 

This photo has paved the way for a new speculation that Simbu may have shot a cameo in the film for the song sequence. Reportedly, it is said that the actor was at the movie sets to shoot for the promotional video of the song. However, the director, movie makers and Simbu are silent about the news and it has not yet been confirmed if Simbu has really sung a song for the film. ‘Varisu’ touted to be a family emotional drama, apart from Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna also stars Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Meena, SJ Suryah, Shaam, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha Krish and Samyuktha in important roles.
