In response to media reports that director Lingusamy removed Silambarasan from his forthcoming venture, the actor chose to clarify his stance by issuing a statement.According to the Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya star, he was signed by director Lingusamy’s home banner Tirupathi Brothers to do a film with director Bhoopathi Pandian. But later the scenario changed and the film was to be produced by Dhayanidhi Azhagiri’s Cloud Nine with Lingusamy directing it.
Simbhu states, “Technically, I have not signed any film with Cloud Nine nor have I allotted any dates to them.
Dhayanidhi Alagiri is my close friend and we share a great rapport.

Lingusamy has not been able to narrate the script to me till today, nor has he told me the exact dates that he wants. I waited in vain for over 100 days for his complete script and then decided to do Vaanam. I had informed Dhayanidhi about it, before he left to South Africa for the Fifa finals and he promised me that we would start the shoot from September 1.” He adds, “I was shocked to read reports in the media that Lingusamy has sacked me! How can he expect me to wait for more than 100 days without a proper script or dates for the shoot? I had told him that I would be free from September 1, after completing15 days of shooting for Poda Podi in London. But he jumped the gun and announced that I had been replaced by another actor! This is totally unprofessional and just not done.”

Enthiran Audio release is expecting on july 31st in Malaysia. Simbu is going  to perform a dance for one of the rajini's hit song.He would be joining the function from london after finishing the song shoot of  "Poda Podi" and now he is in song composing with Sivamani in Mumbai.
