Perky Sneha Ullal on her Tamil debut,her romantic liaisons and more in a heart-to-heart chat with Chennai Times           
Subsequent to a smooth innings in Tollywood,spunky actress Sneha Ullal has landed in Chennai to begin her K-town career with the remake of Telugu film Vedam opposite Simbu,only to find herself the subject of a lot of rumours,some of them unsavoury too.


In the Tamil film shes doing,Sneha plays the love interest of Simbu. After just a few days work with the flamboyant star,gossip mills are abuzz with news of their romance.These are just baseless rumours.We are just good friends.Let me tell you,our chemistry is restricted only to the screen, she adds.

But Simbu has been linked with most of his sexy co-stars,including Nayanthara and Trisha.I cant comment about them,but this unnecessary gossip could affect my budding K-town career.So,I am very worried.Id really want people to verify facts before talking so loosely about me.Right now,I am obsessed with my work and parents.Theres really no room for romance in my life, she says.

Is she happy being single I have been single for the last three years and I am quite happy.I have resolved to make it big in south films and I have no time for anything else, she reasons.Wasnt she linked with B-town superstar Salman Khan before I heard that one too.I was branded as Salman Khans protegee,but that wasnt ever true.He has just been a friend and a guide, she points out.

Is she sharing screen space with her mentor in Bollywood For now,we are not doing any film together.However,I have just signed a big Bollywood film and I will talk about it when everythings more certain, she says,treading cautiously.

There were rumours that her hefty pay packet cost her a big-ticket film with Jayam Ravi and director Ameer.I couldnt do the film because of date problems.Id love to do a film with Ravi and Ameer any day.I didnt quote any fancy price since I know what I deserve and the producers I have worked with before,will vouch for it, she clarifies.
