After a long wait, the shooting of the Simbu-Varalaxmi starrer Podaa Podi took off in London recently.STR, as Simbu is known now, was all gung-ho about this romantic musical.Varalaxmi, daughter of Sarathkumar, makes her movie debut with this movie. An accomplished dancer, Varalaxmi is also very active on stage with her musicals.,Talking about her movie on Facebook, she said that she was very excited about her first shoot, nervous but her energy levels were great.She was congratulated by several of her friends on FB, including Radikaa Sarathkumar, Trisha, Sidney Sladen and others.
