Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai. Interestingly, this very phrase was part of the popular Nenjukul… number in the filmmaker’s
Vaaranam Aayiram.
Oscar winner AR Rahman has been roped in as composer for this project, thus marking the return of the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa combination. In fact, Simbu had tweeted that, “Very first tune of Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai is rocking and just can't wait to shake legs,” and that the title meant a lot to him. Gautham has a penchant for coming up with pure Tamil titles for his projects. While his Vaaranam Aayiram was actually derived from Thirupaavai, his choice of other titles, like Kaakha Kaakha and Dhruva Natchathriam, came in for much praise from the classicallyinclined.
