Nayan and Simbu have busy days ahed

Nayan is back to being her busy self, it looks like. The spunky actor is said to have joined the shooting for Pandiraj’s unnamed film quite recently. Shooting is underway for the film which also stars Nayanthara’s ex, Silambarasan.

Simbu, as the actor is fondly called by his fans, is yet to join the film’s shooting. Sources say he will join Nayanthara on the sets by the end of this week. The film, which is touted to be a breezy romantic comedy, will reportedly have no fight sequences at all. The film also brings Nayanthara and Simbu together for the first time after their runaway hit Vallavan in 2006. Between then and now, both the actors have had their fair share of link-ups, break-ups and several successful films. Sources say that after the phenomenal success of Raja Rani and Arrambam, Nayanthara’s market value shot up so much that she reportedly charged nearly Rs one crore to star opposite Simbu.

The Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya actor too has been keeping busy. Simbu will be working on Pandiraj’s project alongside Gautham Menon’s new film, the shooting for which is expected to wrap up in February 2014. Music for the Pandiraj film is being done by Simbu’s brother, Kuralarasan, while comedian Soori will be handling the comedy scenes. This will be the first time he’s teaming up with Simbu.
