I’ve watched all his movies and really loved his performance in Manmadhan,” Teejay says, recalling, “When we met last, he had spoken to me about my performance in Asuran. He really liked it and said we’ll definitely work on something together. Now, it’s happening.”
The actor is happy that the filmmaker chose him for the role. “I cannot wait to meet and work with Krishna sir. He is such a lovely person,” adds Teejay, who is currently in the UK. Meanwhile, the cast also has another addition — poet, orator and politician Manushyaputhiran. Krishna tells us, “He plays a social worker, Udhayamurthi, in the film. We would have seen him in a different avatar on stage, but he has a totally new look in the film. His is a positive character.” Meanwhile..... A movie with Sarjun KM in the pipeline as well Teejay will also be playing the lead in Airaa filmmaker Sarjun KM’s upcoming film, which will be based on Tamil and Malayalam author Jeyamohan’s novel. “The film is based on Jeyamohan sir’s Malayalam novel Nooru Simhasanangal (Nooru Narkaligal in Tamil). I’m very excited to star as a lead in this film. I’ve heard amazing reviews on this novel and it’ll definitely be a promising movie for me,” Teejay notes.
