The shoot for Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu has been wrapped up. The film's director announced the same on his micro-blogging page along with a picture of the team. He captioned it, "And #maanaadu portions wrapped!! Nearing completion!! Thanks to my team!! Maanaadu's leading lady Kalyani Priyadarshan also called the team, a vera level one and wrote, "When a 14 day schedule gets wrapped in 7 days! Vera level sir unga team." The film is an action thriller that has Silambarasan TR and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead, with SJ Suryah as the antagonist. The rest of the star cast includes Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaren. Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Richard M Nathan and editing by Praveen KL.
