కోలీవుడ్ స్టార్ హీరో శింబు (Simbu) శ్రీలంకకు చెందిన ఓ అమ్మాయిని వివాహమాడనున్నట్టు కొన్ని రోజులుగా వదంతులు షికార్లు కొడుతున్నాయి. 

కోలీవుడ్ స్టార్ హీరో శింబు (Simbu) శ్రీలంకకు చెందిన ఓ అమ్మాయిని వివాహమాడనున్నట్టు కొన్ని రోజులుగా వదంతులు షికార్లు కొడుతున్నాయి. బడా వ్యాపారవేత్త కుమార్తెని పెళ్లి చేసుకోబోతున్నట్టు పలు రూమర్స్ హల్‌చల్ చేస్తున్నాయి. శింబు మేనేజర్ ఆ వార్తలన్నింటిని ఖండించారు. ఓ ప్రకటనను జారీ చేశారు. ‘‘శ్రీలంకకు చెందిన తమిళ అమ్మాయిని శింబు పెళ్లి చేసుకోబోతున్నట్టు మీడియాలో వస్తున్న వార్తలన్నింటిని మేం ఖండిస్తున్నాం. ఈ వార్తల్లో ఎటువంటి నిజం లేదు. పెళ్లి వంటి వ్యక్తిగత విషయాలకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై వార్తలను రాసేటప్పుడు ఒకసారి మమ్మల్ని సంప్రదించాల్సిగా కోరుతున్నాం. అటువంటి శుభవార్త ఏమైనా ఉంటే మీడియాకే ముందుగా తెలియజేస్తాం’’ అని శింబు మేనేజర్ చెప్పారు. శింబు గతంలో నయనతార (Nayanthara), హన్సిక‌ (Hansika) లతో ప్రేమయాణం నడిపారు.

శింబు ‘మన్మథ’, ‘వల్లభ’ వంటి పలు తెలుగు చిత్రాలతో ప్రేక్షకులను చేరువయ్యారు. రైటర్‌, సింగర్‌గా ఆయన గుర్తింపు సంపదించుకున్నారు. చివరగా ‘లైఫ్ ఆఫ్ ముత్తు’ (Life of Muthu)లో నటించారు. ఈ చిత్రం ఆయన కరీర్‌లోనే బిగ్గెస్ట్ హిట్‌గా నిలిచింది. ఈ సినిమాకు గౌతమ్ మీనన్ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. ఆయన నటించిన ‘పాతు తలా’ (Pathu Thala) ప్రస్తుతం విడుదలకు సిద్ధంగా ఉంది. ఈ చిత్రం ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా మార్చి 30న విడుదల కానుంది.
