తమిళ నటుడు శింబు (Simbu)కి టాలీవుడ్‌లోనూ మంచి పాపులారిటీ ఉన్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అందుకే ఆయన ప్రతి సినిమా తెలుగులోకి డబ్ అయ్యి విడుదల అవుతూ ఉంటుంది. అయితే.. ఈ నటుడికి తమిళంలో మాత్రం మంచి క్రేజ్ ఉంది. ఏ సినిమాకి అయినా మంచి ఓపెనింగ్స్ వస్తుంటాయి. గతేడాది విడుదలైన ‘ది లైఫ్ ఆఫ్ ముత్తు’ (The Life Of Muthu) సినిమాతో ఈ నటుడు సూపర్ హిట్ సాధించాడు. తాజాగా ఆయన నటించిన ‘పత్తు తల’ (Patthu Thala).
ఈ నెల 30వ తేదీన విడుదలకానుంది. దీంతో ఈ మూవీకి సంబంధించిన ప్రమోషన్స్‌ని ఈ చిత్రబృందం జోరుగా సాగిస్తోంది. ఇందులో భాగంగా జరిగిన ఓ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న శింబు మాట్లాడాడు. శింబు మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘ఈ ఆడియో వేడుకకు వచ్చే ముందు ఒక విషయాన్ని మనసులో అనుకుని వచ్చాను. భావోద్వేగానికిలోనై మీ (ఫ్యాన్స్‌) ముందు కన్నీరు పెట్టకూడదని గట్టిగా అనుకున్నా. ఎందుకంటే సాధారణంగా సినిమాలో ఒక చిన్న సెంటిమెంట్‌ సీన్‌ వచ్చినా నిజంగానే ఏడ్చేస్తా. నా మనస్తత్వం అలాంటిది. చిత్రపరిశ్రమలో అవకాశం వస్తే బురద జల్లేందుకు చాలా మంది ఉంటారు. కానీ కష్టం వస్తే అక్కున చేర్చుకునేందుకు ఇక్కడ ఎవరూ లేరు’ అని చెప్పుకొచ్చాడు.
శింబు ఇంకా మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘ఏఆర్ రెహ్మాన్‌ (A. R. Rahman) నాకు గాడ్‌ఫాదర్‌లాంటి వారు. ఆయనకు నాపై ఒక శిష్యుడిగా ఉండే ప్రేమాభిమానాలను కాపాడుకుంటా. ఆధ్యాత్మికంలో ఆయన నాకు గురువు. ఇకపై పాత శింబు మీకు కనిపించరు. కొత్త శింబునే చూస్తారు. అలాగే, ఇకపై మాటలు ఉండవు.. అనుకున్నది చేసుకుంటూ పోవడమే. ఈ చిత్రంలో నాకు హీరోయిన్‌ లేదు. నిజ జీవితంలో కూడా తోడు లేదు. నాకు తోడుగా ఉన్నది మీరు మాత్రమే. అందుకే మీరు గర్వపడేలా నడుచుకుంటాను. మీరు తలదించుకునే పనులు చేయను’ అని శింబు తన అభిమానులకు మాట ఇచ్చాడు. ఈ మూవీలో గౌతం కార్తీక్‌, గౌతం వాసుదేవ్‌ మీనన్‌, ప్రియా భవానీ శంకర్‌ కీలకపాత్రల్లో నటించారు. గ్రీన్‌ స్టూడియోస్‌, పెన్‌ స్టూడియోస్‌ సంయుక్తంగా నిర్మించిన ఈ చిత్రానికి ఏఆర్ రెహ్మాన్‌ సంగీతం అందించారు. Any movie has good openings. The actor scored a super hit with the movie 'The Life Of Muthu' which was released last year. He recently acted in 'Pathu Thala'. Because usually, even if there is a small sentimental scene in the movie, you really cry. Such is my mentality.
