ఆపదలో ఉన్నవారికి ఆపన్న హస్తం అందించడానికి భాషా పరిమితులు, ప్రాంతీయ భేదాలు ఉండవని తమిళ హీరో శింబు నిరూపించారు. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఇటీవల సంభవించిన వరదల కారణంగా ఇబ్బందులకు గురైన వారిని ఆదుకోవడానికి ఆయన ముందుకు వచ్చారు. ఇతర తమిళ హీరోలందరికన్నా ముందుగా తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల ముఖ్యమంత్రుల సహాయనిధికి తన వంతు సాయంగా రూ. ఆరు లక్షల విరాళం ప్రకటించి తన మంచితనాన్ని చాటుకున్నారు. అందరూ ఈ విపత్తు నుంచి త్వరలో బయటపడాలని ఆయన కోరుకున్నారు.
