കമൽഹാസൻ - മണിരത്നം ചിത്രം തഗ് ലൈഫിലെ ആദ്യ ഗാനം ജിങ്കുച്ചാ റിലീസ് ചെയ്തു.മണിരത്നം, എ. ആർ. റഹ്മാൻ, ചിത്രത്തിലെ താരങ്ങളായ കമൽഹാസൻ, ചിലമ്പരശൻ, ജോജു ജോർജ്, തൃഷ, അഭിരാമി തുടങ്ങിയ താരങ്ങൾ പങ്കെടുത്ത പ്രൗഢ ഗംഭീകമായ ചടങ്ങിലാണ് റിലീസ് . ഓഡിയോ അവകാശം സരിഗമ സ്വന്തമാക്കി.
മുപ്പത്തിയാറു വർഷത്തെ ഇടവേളയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം കമൽഹാസനെ നായകനാക്കി മണിരത്നം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് തഗ് ലൈഫ്.ഐശ്വര്യ ലക്ഷ്മി, അശോക് സെൽവൻ, നാസർ തുടങ്ങി വമ്പൻ താര നിര അണിനിരക്കുന്നു. മണിരത്നത്തിനൊപ്പം സംഗീതസംവിധായകൻ എ.ആർ റഹ്മാനും എഡിറ്റർ ശ്രീകർ പ്രസാദും ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലും ഒരുമിക്കുന്നു. മണിരത്നത്തിന്റെ കന്നത്തിൽ മുത്തമിട്ടാൽ, ആയുധ എഴുത്ത് എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ഛായാഗ്രാഹകൻ രവി കെ ചന്ദ്രനാണ് ക്യാമറ ചലിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.വിക്രമിന് വേണ്ടി കമലുമായി സഹകരിച്ച അൻപറിവ് ആണ് ആക്ഷൻ കൊറിയോഗ്രഫി .മേക്കപ്പ് രഞ്ജിത്ത് അമ്പാടിയും പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ ഡിസൈനറായി ശർമ്മിഷ്ഠ റോയ്യും കോസ്റ്റ്യൂം ഡിസൈനറായി ഏകാ ലഖാനിയുമാണ്

The first song from the Kamal Haasan-Maniratnam film Thug Life was released by Jinkucha. The release was held at a grand ceremony attended by Mani Ratnam, A. R. Rahman, and the film's stars Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Joju George, Trisha, and Abhirami. Sarigama has acquired the audio rights.
Thug Life is a film directed by Mani Ratnam with Kamal Haasan in the lead after a gap of thirty-six years. A big star cast includes Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan, Nassar, and others. Along with Mani Ratnam, music director A. R. Rahman and editor Sreekar Prasad are also joining hands in this film. Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, who worked on Mani Ratnam's films Kannathil Muthamittal and Ayudhya Ezhuth, is handling the camera. Action choreography is by Anpariv, who collaborated with Kamal for Vikram. Makeup is by Ranjith Ambadi, production designer is Sharmishtha Roy, and costume designer is Eka Lakhani.
